Welcome to my blog!
Here I’ll be sharing my thoughts on a variety of psychological topics and themes. Some have been percolating in my brain for some time and I’m thrilled to have the opportunity to put them on the page. Others will stem from the ways I’m routinely challenged and inspired by the art and science of psychotherapy. I will do my best to craft my entries for clinicians and those seeking healing alike, though of course, not everything will apply for everyone.
For clinicians, I’ll be orienting to the 3Es – enhancing competency, expanding self-care, and engaging in community care – providing new ways of thinking about complex concepts and providing tips and tricks for enhancing care, while ensuring adequate attention to ourselves to be able to keep doing the work we love.
For those on a healing journey, I hope that if you see yourself in my words, that they help you to better understand yourself and the intricacies of the healing process, and that they reinforce the importance of patience, compassion, and perseverance.
